Who May Be Eligible
9th–12th grade and college and university students are invited to compete in this program.
How to Apply
Submission recording must be created from a single live concert or composed of a compilation of selections from multiple concerts, recorded in front of live audiences, or streamed for live audiences, in “one take”. Include a track listing of titles and composers for every work. File types: MP3, AIFF, WAV, AAC. No other types of audio files will be accepted or reviewed for the competition. The recording must exceed thirty minutes. Candidates can apply and send their submission through the online portal of Percussive Arts Society, Inc.
Benefits
One high school/nonprofit community ensemble and one collegiate percussion ensemble will be given a chance to perform at PASIC 2021, going to occur on November 10–13, 2021, in Indianapolis, IN. Each ensemble will also be included in a showcase concert.
PAS will offer one piano, music stands, chairs, primary sound reinforcement and lighting. Chosen ensembles will have the opportunity to stay in the PASIC hotel block.
