The Lions Club International brings to you the 2021 International Leo Day Video Contest following the theme: #LeoLegacy. Leos have left an impressive legacy these past 60 years, reaching 7,000 Leo clubs in 150 countries. While the Leo club is celebrating the global achievements of Leos’ service, they also know that each Leo club has its own unique story and achievements. As they are looking forward to increasing the overall impact of Leos during the next 5 years through the Leo Strategic Plan, they also want to celebrate the local stories and the overall success they have accomplished by now. The following contest is to encourage all the Leos to showcase their talent and create a video dedicated to LeoLegacy.
To participate in the following contest, the applicant must be a member of the Leo Club. The applicants are required to create a video stating and describing their overall experience as an LEO, what they are achieved, what they are most proud of, etc. The selection committee will select three candidates as the winners and be given them places as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and be granted the respective prizes. The winners will be announced on December 5, 2021, on International Leo Day. The deadline for the application submission for the following contest is November 1, 2021.
Lions are serving for almost 100+ years since they first began in 1917. Their clubs are places where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving their communities and the world. The mission of Lions is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. Their vision is to be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.

Who is Eligible?

- The candidate must be a member of the Leo club to be eligible for this content.
How to Apply?
The interested individuals are required to create a video that shows what they’re most proud of in their club’s #LeoLegacy by answering the following questions:
- What have you done as a club that you are most proud of?
- How are you documenting your club’s story in your community and to Lions Clubs International? How does your club use MyLCI and MyLion to record and share your impact?
- How have you prepared your club’s leaders to continue your legacy?
To enter the contest, follow the below-given instructions:
- Create a 3-minute or less video showing us your club’s #LeoLegacy. Videos must answer all 3 questions and will be judged on: Quality, Creativity, Clearly answers the prompt questions
- Upload your video to Vimeo or YouTube with the hashtags #proudLEO and #LeoLegacy
Benefits
The videos submitted by you will be reviewed and judged by the selection committee and out of all, the three most deserving candidates will be selected as the winners of the following content and be given the following places:
- 1st Place: US$1,000
- 2nd Place: US$500
- 3rd Place: US$250
Application Deadline
