The Illinois Chemical Education Foundation is keenly dedicated toward helping the students who want to complete their higher education in the chemistry field. The foundation is aware of the financial struggles of the students and wishes to be part of their success through the scholarship program. The Chemical Industry Council of Illinois (CICI) was actually started in 1951 with only 16 members in it. The foundation was created as a solution for the concern that not all the students that are talented and passionate enough get a chance to complete their studies in the science field. The foundation is deeply motivated towards helping the students or the people from Illinois who are capable enough to build a successful career in the chemistry. - Please submit your personal details along with a cover page, an official transcript with a signature of school, GPA, ACT/SAT/PSAT scores, two letters of recommendations one mandatorily from science teacher must be submitted. Submit an essay on “How did you become interested in your chosen college major and where do you hope it takes you?” of one page, and the list of your other accomplishments and achievements.

A number of students will be selected and awarded with $2000 scholarship. The award amount received should only be used to pay the education-related needs of the students like tuition, fees, books and other requirements.
