This scholarship, the Judy Flanagan Scholarship, is offered to all U.S National citizens that want to pursue or have already enrolled themselves in an accredited American university or college. The scholarship is offered as a part of one of the 20 scholarships made possible by the generosity of many industry donors through the IFEA Foundation. The scholarship award is entitled to cover all the involved registration fees in full.
Being the Premier Association Supporting and Enabling Festival & Event Professionals Worldwide, International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA World), founded in 1956 as the Festival Manager’s Association, IFEA’s primary focus is identifying and providing access to the professional resources and networks that will inspire and enable those in the industry to realize their dreams, build community and sustain success through celebration. The foundation caters to includes all those who produce and support quality celebrations for the benefit of their respective “communities” and exists to serve the needs of the entire industry.

Who is Eligible?
- The applicants must meet the targeted criteria as a deserving individual/ organization whose event involves a parade.
- The applicants must have not attended an IFEA Annual Convention & Expo within the last three (3) years. The exception has been given to full-time students.
- The applicants or their organization must be a current member, in good standing, of the IFEA.
How to Apply?
- The applicants must submit information on their cultural diversity, professional aspirations, course of study (if a student), and statement of benefit to themselves and/or their organizations and communities as the result of attending the convention.
- Then, to apply for the scholarship, the students must submit their completed scholarship application to kaye@ifea.com.
- Students that incorporate all necessary documentation and requirements for the scholarship will be considered.
Benefits
Under the award of this funding scheme established by IFEA, the selected candidates can participate in the IFEA Annual Convention & Expo and also have their full registration fees covered.

Applications of all eligible and interested students for this scholarship received after 5:00 p.m MDT, Monday, 16th May, 2022 will not be accepted. Students are requested to make necessary submissions and apply for the scholarship in due time.
