The IFDA Educational Foundation Board of Trustees offers a variety of grants every year or semester with the aim to provide help and support the students who have the potential to do the extraordinary but are held back because of the increasing costs of education these days. This time, they have added a grant for part-time undergraduate understudy decided to proceed with their instruction in the interior design or related program at a certified school. Applications are acknowledged every year between March 1 and submitted no later than March 31. The winner will be notified of his success by July 1 and be granted the scholarship prize worth $1,500, which can be used for educational purposes only.
With regards to qualification, all candidates must have finished four designing courses in post-auxiliary training at the hour of application and be studying Interior Design or any related field. The beneficiary of this grant should be enlisted for the fall semester following the March 31st application cutoff time to get this scholarship. Who is Eligible?
The eligibility criteria for the following scholarship is as follows:
- All applicants must have completed four design courses in post-secondary education at the time of application and be majoring in Interior Design or a related field.
- The recipient of this scholarship must be enrolled for the fall semester following the March 31st application deadline, to receive this scholarship.
- The scholarship applicant must be currently enrolled in at least two courses as a part-time student.

How to Apply?
All eligible candidates can apply for this scholarship by submitting the complete application form attached with all the below-mentioned documents. In addition to that, the candidates will have to submit a 200-400 word essay explaining their long- and short-term goals, special interests, volunteer/community service, and what inspired them to pursue a professional career in this field.
Supporting Documents
Following are the documents that need to be attached with your application form:
- An unofficial transcript from your college Registrar.
- One Design Project Example, to include process details, descriptions, and both in-process and final drawings (to include plan, elevation, and/or 3-D drawings and renderings). Computer-generated and/or handwork may be included. (group projects will not be accepted).
- Two additional individual images, without supporting documentation, computer-generated and/or hand drawings and/or renderings may be included.
- Letter of Recommendation from an instructor/professor on official school stationery.
Benefits
The one best candidate who qualifies the given criteria set for the candidates and writes the most impressive essay and the application will be chosen and be granted the scholarship money worth $1,500. The scholarship money can be put to use against your education or tuition expenses. The funds are not for any personal expenses.
Application Deadline
The applications for this grant must be submitted no later than March 31 every year. The late submissions won’t be accepted at all and will lead to disqualification from the program.
