This time, bold.org is presenting to you another scholarship program by the name of the “If You Believe” scholarship for the current high school senior planning to pursue post-secondary education. The following scholarship is open to all high school and undergraduate students. To participate in the scholarship program, the students are required to write an essay stating an experience in which they’ve overcome adversity, and why they’re passionate about helping others. Out of all candidates, the most deserving one will be selected and be awarded the amount of $1,000.
The scholarship seeks to support one student who is driven to inspire and motivate others and to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Any high school senior who has overcome adversity and is planning on pursuing some type of post-secondary education may apply for this scholarship. This can be a great opportunity for you to come forward and help others with your experiences and how you overcome adversity in your life. The deadline for the application submission for the same is November 1, 2021.

Who is Eligible?

How to Apply?
The interested individuals are required to fill out the application form given on the scholarship portal. Additionally, the candidates are required to write a 400-600 word essay on the following topic:
What is your “why?” What adversity have you overcome and what did you learn from it? Why are inspiring and helping others important to you?
Supporting Documents
After announcing the winner, the winner will have to provide proof of enrolment in the form of recent transcripts.
Benefits
The winner will be publicly announced on December 1, 2021, and be awarded a one-time scholarship amount of $1,000. The amount will be transferred by cheque to the institution’s financial aid office the candidate is attending. If there is no financial aid office in the candidate’s school or college, the amount will be directly transferred to the candidate.
