The AACN or American Association of Colleges of Nursing is proudly introducing its Hurst Review/AACN Nursing Scholarship. Candidates should be admitted or enrolled in an entry-level baccalaureate or higher degree nursing program at an AACN member institution to be eligible for this scholarship. Fellows should have a good academic standing.
The motive behind initiating this program is to make higher education easy on nursing students. The program provides considerable support to the students and motivates them to do better in their careers. The association understands how difficult it is to complete the education with so much expense pressure and to reduce it by giving some funds this program has been designed. The application process has been kept simple so that multiple students can benefit from it.
The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is the national voice for academic nursing. AACN works to establish quality standards for nursing education; assists schools in implementing those standards influences the nursing profession to improve health care; and promotes public support for professional nursing education, research, and practice. From an original 121 member institutions in 1969, AACN today represents over 840 member schools of nursing at public and private universities nationwide. These schools offer a mix of baccalaureate, graduate, and post-graduate programs.

Who May Be Eligible?

One $2,500 scholarship will be distributed each semester (Fall, Spring, Summer) to a top applicant to a pre-licensure nursing program. Candidates are motivated to maintain a good academic record through this scholarship.
