Apply today for the Humane Wildlife Academic Scholarship offered by the ABC to complete your studies. The applies to women engaged in STEM-field and who are currently enrolled at a college or university within the U.S.
The organization designed the award notice that the women are critically underrepresented in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The recipients of the program will get help to complete their education.
The ABC Humane Wildlife Control & Prevention serves over 6 Chicago counties and helps more than 4,000 customers each year. Its terminators are dedicated to solving the wildlife problems of Chicago’s residents, businesses, and municipalities.
Who May Eligible?
The candidates must follow the entire eligibility criteria to apply for the program:
- Must identify as a women
- Must be a student currently enrolled at a college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in the United States.
- Must be studying or planning to explore the fields of science (excluding social sciences, i.e. economics), engineering, mathematics, or technology.
- Children of employees at ABC Wildlife are ineligible

The complete application with the required correspondence is to be sent to grants@abcwildlife.com to get considered. The email should contain a subject line of “Women in STEM Scholarship.”
Supporting Documents
- An essay response in 1000 words or fewer on “Why are you passionate about science, technology, engineering, or math, and how will your pursuit of these fields help preserve biodiversity, improve the health of our planet, or alleviate human suffering?.”
- Proof of Enrollment and letter of references
Benefits
The Humane Wildlife Academic Scholarship includes one award of $1,000, and up to nine other students may receive awards for their submissions

The application deadline is July 1st, 2020, to get considered for the scholarship.
