Do you have good photography skills? Are you aspired to serve as a leader in the field of photography? Well if so, then this is high time to put those skills into use. Heritage Shorthorn Society is looking for applications for its photo contest available for 2021. Whether photography is just your hobby or you are a professional photographer, this organization invites everyone to submit photographs picturing some positive aspects of having Shorthorns. The photos can be of modern Shorthorns, but no “Shorthorn Plus” animals. You don’t need to be a member of HSS to be able to enter this contest.
Participants are supposed to send up to five photos featuring modern Shorthorns, but no “Shorthorn Plus” animals. They are encouraged to give captions to their photographs but the caption should not specifically have a ranch/farm name. Candidates are free to click photos in any location which highlights something positive about Shorthorns. All photos should originate with the person/family sending the photo—no copyrighted photos or photos copied off the internet from unknown sources. Two winners will be selected for the first and second prizes.
Heritage Shorthorn Society has been working as a breed organization dedicated to the preservation and revitalization of true Shorthorns that have maintained their genetic purity going back to the Shorthorn Herdbook of 1822, and for their utilization in modern enterprises.
