Eligibility Criteria

The HR&A Advisors Summer Analyst Fellowship is tailored for students completing their senior year of a bachelor’s degree or pursuing a graduate-level degree. Preference is given to those with a concentration in specific fields such as urban planning, real estate finance, economic development, public policy, housing finance, or related disciplines. The fellowship is an ideal fit for individuals passionate about urban life and equipped with strong quantitative and qualitative skills.

Benefits

Selected Summer Fellows will engage in a 12-week program, working in HR&A offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Raleigh, or Washington, DC. The fellowship provides hands-on experience in project work, data-driven city building, and exposure to various aspects of urban development and policy. The unique aspect of this track is the opportunity to transition seamlessly into a full-time role at HR&A through an abbreviated application process.

To apply, candidates must submit a single PDF document containing a one-page essay on how they envision bringing equity to cities and the built environment. Alongside the essay, a resume should be included. As part of HR&A’s commitment to a bias-mitigating hiring process, applicants are requested to remove school information from their submitted materials.
