The rising cost of higher education has resulted in increment of drop out numbers that have become the major matter of concern of today. In an effort to address this need and improve the access the higher education, Hearthstone Housing Foundation is now awarding a wonderful scholarship program. This scholarship will be offered based on the financial need of students. Applicants with full-time student status and a minimum 3.0 GPA can save their spot in this program.
Many students have to struggle to attend a college of their choice due to the rising education cost. Pursuing an advanced degree at an accredited college in the USA can pose the financial burden not only on students but their families. These hardships lead students to do jobs or take out a loan that charges high interest. In a survey, it has been found that educational loans increase the financial burden on students rather than decreasing it. With this Hearthstone Housing Foundation Scholarship, students can remove all the barriers that might come on their way of success.

Who May Be Eligible?
Candidates must be from a low-income household or demonstrate financial need;
Applicants must be 15-25 years of age as of 3/31/2021;
Participants must be a resident of a Hearthstone Housing Foundation property or a county where a Hearthstone property is located;
Recipients should be one of the following during the 2021-22 school year: A full-time high school student requesting support for any of the following:
- College preparation courses
- Fees related to the college application process
- Other academically enriching activities
Aspirants should be a full-time undergraduate student attending a college, university, or vocational school in the United States;
Candidates must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA for current high school students or a 2.75 GPA for current college students;
Applicants must be available for a phone interview in May 2021.

Students can apply through the online portal of Hearthstone Housing Foundation where candidates have to log in or register to access the online application form. Selected candidates will be invited for a phone interview.
