HBCU Courage Scholarships for High School Senior Students

The Historically Black Colleges and Universities have decided to provide scholarships to those students who are high school seniors and who also have a plan to attend an HBCU. This Scholarship is designed to help those Northen students who have to travel across the country to fulfill their dreams, as most HBCUs are in the south. Moving from one country to another increases expenses which their families do not consider, such as expenses of flights, shipping, and other related expenses. This Courage Scholarship is therefore designed to fulfill the required expenses that are needed for traveling. This is an excellent opportunity for those in need of this.

Students for this program will get selected based on their needs and application and other required factors that are made by the Scholarship providers. Among all the applications, two winners will get selected and will receive the award amount of $500 each. The amount will be utilized for the educational travel allowances from north to south, and the manageable expenses include flight, shipping, transportation, hotel, and rental car costs. This will help students in managing the travel costs that are required to seek education at HBCU. And will ease their way to complete their education in the same country.

The HBCU was founded prior to 1964 for African-American Students and is a non-profit organization. The term was formed by the Higher Education Act of 1965, which expanded federal funding for colleges and universities. Their aim is to provide scholarship aid to deserving students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and they are carrying a vision to provide a Global Impact…One leader at a time.
