Hawaii Credit Union League has started applications for its “Hawaii State FCU’S Scholarship”. Application time for Hawaii State FCU’s 2022 student scholarship program is currently available and will close on January 31, 2022. Twenty eligible Hawaii students will receive $5,000 scholarships from Hawaii State FCU to attend a properly accredited university, college, or trade/vocational school. All Hawaii State FCU members and their dependents are eligible for the Hawaii State FCU Scholarship Program. Interested students must satisfy the following conditions. In the 2022-2023 academic year, the candidates must enrol in a properly accredited university, college, or trade/vocational school. In addition, the candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student. You must also be enrolled full-time in school. Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree. You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and be able to demonstrate financial need.
The Hawaii Community Foundation manages the Hawaii State FCU Scholarship Program (HCF). Personal and award impact statements, most recent school transcript, 2022-2023 Student Aid Report from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form (FAFSA) filing and a list of accomplishments and community service activities are all required for the online application. By January 31, 2022, all interested students must complete their applications and submit all supporting documentation.
The Hawaii Credit Union League (HCUL) is the leading champion for member credit unions in Hawaii and Guam and is entirely devoted to their success. Since its founding in 1937, HCUL has assisted credit unions in navigating, teaching, and representing them through decades of successes and problems. HCUL participates in the legislative process at the municipal, state, and federal levels on behalf of its members. HCUL stays on top of a slew of regulatory concerns and assists credit unions in responding to proposed regulations and navigating the implementation of new rules. HCUL provides industry-specific education and training to help member credit unions achieve long-term success.

Who is Eligible?
Members of Hawaii State FCU and their descendants must be eligible candidates. In the 2022-2023 academic year, you must attend an adequately accredited university, college, or trade/vocational school. You must be able to show financial necessity. Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students (as assessed by the financial assistance office at an institution). You can apply as a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required.
How to Apply?
To apply, go to the Hawaii Community Foundation’s Scholarship Manager and start your 2022-2023 Common Application. You must specify that you are a Hawaii State FCU member in the “Affiliation Questions” part of the Common Application to be considered for the Hawaii State FCU Scholarship. If you are a member’s dependant, fill out the “Details” form with the member’s name and your relationship to the member.
The applicants need to have the required documents as given below:

The scholarship will benefit the candidates in covering up the tuition fees. It will also help them to pursue higher education.
The last date of the application ends on January 31, 2022. The late date of application will not be accepted.
