Gunnar Esiason Own It Scholarship

If you are a high-achieving student with the ambition to change your future, you can apply for the Gunnar Esiason Own It Scholarship which is presented by Boomer Esiason Foundation. The program is designed to support students with cystic fibrosis studying at the graduate level.

Employees of the Boomer Esiason Foundation include individuals specializing in cystic fibrosis and program development, event planning and fundraising, marketing, and communications, and management.

Who May Eligible

  • Applicants with cystic fibrosis studying at the graduate level.
  • Students who are enrolled in graduate school
  • Candidates, who will be beginning graduate school in the scholarship’s calendar year, will be eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be able to prove a cystic fibrosis diagnosis with written documentation from a medical provider.

How to Apply

To be applying, applicants are required to provide all of the following documents in order to be considered:

  • Application
  • Recent photo
  • Letter from your physician (on letterhead) confirming CF diagnosis and therapy routine.
  • Transcript (high school, college, and/or graduate school)
  • A detailed breakdown of tuition costs from an academic institution
  • W2 forms for both parents

Benefit: The study program is provided up to Up to $5,000 for your study carrier.

Application Deadline: 2019-2020 Application Cycle will be closed until September 6, 2019.
