Unexpected financial circumstances can cause students to stress and impact their ability to achieve and thrive. The Rady Office of Graduate Student Affairs may be able to provide limited emergency financial assistance to currently enrolled Rady School of Management Graduate students. They cannot meet immediate, essential expenses because of temporary hardship related to an unexpected situation. The fund is designated to offset a short-term financial need and is not intended to replace or supplement financial aid. Unlike a loan, funds are awarded as a grant and do not need to be repaid. Funds may count as income and be subject to federal and state taxes.
Submission of the Emergency Financial Assistance Form does not guarantee to fund. Students may only receive funding one time per academic year. Should your request be denied, you are eligible to resubmit for funding. Before submitting a request, please research other options listed below, as they may be able to provide the support you need.
