Good Tidings Community Service Scholarships for High School Seniors

Good Tidings Foundation is presenting to you a “community service scholarship” with the ultimate purpose is to offer opportunities to students in desperate need of financial assistance. The following grant program was first initiated in 1999 for high school seniors who recognize the benefits of serving their community. The subsequent award grants high school seniors based on their services and financial need with the one-time scholarship amount of up to $10,000. The scholarship committee will select the ten most deserving candidates and award them with their respective award money.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate must be a high school senior graduating in 2022 and planning to attend college or continue education. The candidate must be residing in any of the following California counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Lake, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Yolo. The winners of the following grant will have to volunteer a minimum of 1 shift (~2-4 hours) for the Good Tidings’ Winter Wonderland Toy Giveaway Program between 12/11  – 12/20/21 in Burlingame, CA. The deadline for the application submission for the subsequent scholarship is November 12, 2021.

Good Tidings Foundation was first founded in 1995 as a non-profit children’s charity organization that looks forward to supporting the growth and development of marginalized youth in Northern California by creating opportunities for Athletics, Artists, students, etc. they engage in charitable activities with professional sports teams, pro athletes and other leaders who share the same vision. They believe that every child deserves to have the resources and opportunities to achieve their dreams regardless of financial status, ethnic origin, religion, or region of living.

The applications submitted will be reviewed and judged by the scholarship committee and out of all, the ten most deserving candidates will be chosen as the winners of the following scholarship. The winners will be awarded a one-time scholarship amount of up to $10,000 each.
