The U.S. Embassy in Moldova is happy to announce the annual competitions for the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program for the 2020-2021 academic year. The U.S Department of State sponsors the program.
The program is established to promote mutual understanding between people of the United States and other countries. It is a fully-funded award for one semester of the non-degree education program at an assigned U.S. college or university.
The federal government of the United States is the national government of the United States. The federal government is a group of three distinct branches: legislative, executive and judicial, whose powers are invested by the U.S. constitution in the community.
Who May Eligible
To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Applicants must be a citizen of Moldova
- Students must be studying in Moldova.
- Scholarships will be granted to students who currently are enrolled in full-time undergraduate programs only, having completed a minimum of their first semester of study by January 2020.
- Participants must demonstrate leadership potential through academic work, community involvement, and extracurricular activities.
- Aspirants must be over 18 years of age at the moment of application.

- Copy of passport bio page
- Academic transcripts for years of university study
- Two letters of reference
- Grade equivalence between local grading system and the U.S. grading system.
