Glen Oaks Community College works as a community college located in Centreville, Michigan. In 1965, Hagen donated a considerable amount of land in Sherman Township to Glen Oaks. Glen Oaks is approved by the state as a credible institution authorized to provide college courses to students. Hagen, who gave her name to many sites at Glen Oaks, was one of the last surviving members of her immediate family and then decided that the newly conceived college should receive those 120 acres.

Who May Be Eligible?
Candidates willing to apply can have a look at the given criteria below:
- Open to graduating area high school seniors
- Students must have an excellent high school academic record and potential for outstanding achievement while attending Glen Oaks.
- Recipients must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while receiving the award
- A minimum 3.5 GPA will be required to apply.
- Finalists for the scholarship will interview with the President of Glen Oaks, the Dean of Students, and the Director of Financial Aid
How to Apply
Interested applicants who are eligible for the program according to the given criteria are asked to fill out an online application form. Applicants have to log in to their account or create a new one to get access to the online scholarship form. Students have to mention every detail asked in the form to be acceptable for the award.
This scholarship program will cover all educational costs up to the award amount. The scholarship award will be pro-rated for less than full-time (12 credits) enrollment. The scholarship may be renewed for a second year if the student maintains the required GPA at Glen Oaks. The Presidential Scholarship is up to $4,000 per year and may be used for all education-related expenses. The Dean’s Scholarship is up to $2,000 per year and may be used for all education-related expenses.
The last date declared to submit your applications along with the credentials is March 1, 2021, at 4:00 pm. Any late or incomplete form is not acceptable.
