Global Payments, Inc in partnership with UNCF is launching a scholarship program in memory of Gerald Wilkins to provide financial assistance to four students. The scholarship is open to full-time enrolled students attending any of the 37 UNCF member institutions. The applicants must be residing in Box springs, Columbus, Fort Benning, or Upatoi, Georgia. The applicant can be an African, American/Black American, Indian- Alaska Native, Asian pacific, Islander American, or Hispanic American. Following scholarship is only available to the legal permanent residents of the US.

You can very well participate in the following program by completing the application requirements and win your way to receive the one-time scholarship amount of $2,200. Who is Eligible?
Following are the eligibility requirements that need to be satisfied for participating in the following scholarship contest:
- The applicant must be residing in or be a permanent resident from one of the following zip codes in Box Springs, Columbus, Fort Benning, or Upatoi, Georgia (31801, 31808, 31820, 31829, 31901, 31902, 31903, 31904, 31905, 31906, 31907, 31908, 31914, 31917, 31993, 31995, 31997, 31998, 31999).
- The applicant must be a full-time Black/African American, Native American, Latinx, or Asian/Pacific Island student enrolled for the 2021-2022 academic year at one of the 37 UNCF member institutions.
- The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- The applicant must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) form that applies to the 2021-2022 academic year. The form can be found at: https://studentaid.gov/
- Thhe applicant must ave a demonstrated unmet financial need as verified by the enrolled college or university.

The interested individuals are required to fill out the application form provided on the scholarship portal and submit it. Additionally, the candidate is required to write a one-page personal statement online concerning your goals and interest. The statement must be free of grammatical and spelling errors.
