Resource Central is organizing the Garden in a Box Photo Contest and inviting you to send a creative photograph of the happy corner of your home garden. This is a chance to share photos of your beautiful garden with the community. The contest will be held under three categories: Pollinators and Blooms, Full Garden or Landscape, and My Garden Close Up. You can participate by submitting a photograph in any one of the mentioned categories. The contest is open from June 10, 2021, to July 10, 2021. The winners will be announced on July 15, 2021.
This is an opportunity to show your happy place to the world. By participating in this contest, you will get a whole new perspective on how to decorate your Garden. Nature is the best place to spend some quality time. Therefore, your Garden should be the creative corner of the house. The top three finalists under each category will be given a $50 Garden in a Box gift certificate along with well-deserved recognition.
Resource Central is an innovative nonprofit in Boulder, Colorado, determined to make conversation so simple that you don’t even realize that you’re doing it. The foundation was established in 1976, and the conservation program has helped more than 600,000 people save water, conserve energy, and reduce waste. Who is Eligible?
There are no conditions of eligibility. The contest is open to all US citizens despite any age or education criteria. The competition will be held under three categories:
- Pollinators and Bloom: A photo captures a pollinator in your Garden and makes a buzz or aflutter with excitement for water-wise gardening.
- Full Garden or Landscape: A picture of your whole Garden.
- My Garden Close Up: Send a glamour shot that highlight just one or few plants.
How to Apply?
To participate, follow the mentioned steps:
- Email your photograph at gardeninfo@resourcecentral.org
- Mention a subject line: “PHOTO CONTEST ENTRY- Category” (include category number or name here)
- A brief sentence about the photo or a photo title is encouraged for voting purpose.
- Send the photo as an attachment of file size 100 KB, and a larger one is recommended.
Note: Only one photo is allowed per person for submission.
Benefits
Under each category, the top three finalists will receive a reward of a $50 Garden In A Box certificate eligible for use during any Garden In A Box session. This is an opportunity to showcase your love for nature and how creative you are. Garden is that corner of the house that is your go-to place when you are happy or sad. Therefore, it is meant to be the creative and imaginative corner. Show the world how talented you are and get to grab new opportunities in the future.
