Here is an authentic opportunity for undergraduate students to fulfil their wish to learn in East or Southeast Asia. Freeman Asia is awarding the Freeman Asia Scholarship, where the students will be allowed to learn abroad. Freeman Asia will provide all the educational expenses of the candidate along with the airfare, basic living costs, local transportation, books, etc.
Freeman Asia aims to provide support to undergraduate students from the U.S. Their focus is to provide the optimum educational opportunity to all the students and create a better future for themselves. The organization wants to remove the space between the student and the education, which will develop the country.
Freeman Asia was established in 2001. Freeman-ASIA has made it possible to study abroad in East and Southeast Asia for more than 5,000 U.S. undergraduates from more than 600 institutions. The Institute of International Education (IIE) is very much grateful to the Freeman Foundation for making study abroad in Asia possible for so many students.

Who May Be Eligible?
Please go through the checklist below before applying:
- The fellow should be a resident of the U.S.
- The student should be an undergraduate student with a GPA score of a minimum of 2.8
- The student must have been accepted to a study abroad based program in Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
- The applicant must be having good academic performance.
- The fellow should need financial assistance to complete their education
How to Apply?
Before applying for the scholarship application, the fellow should select the accredited college for higher education. The submission for the scholarship should be made through the online process; the organization will not accept a late or incomplete application. All the mandatory documents must accompany the application.

These scholarships will lessen the load of the expenses of the students.
