Freedom Hills Youth Art Contest for K to 8 Grade Students

Freedom Hills Therapeutic Riding Program is cheerful to invite applications for its Youth Art Contest. This art program allows students to be creative and celebrate the joy of freedom, farm life, horsemanship, and horseback riding. Students from Kindergarten to 8 grades may send their entry to participate in this opportunity. This could be their chance to showcase their artistic talent to the people and earn recognition. It might prove a meaningful first step toward their art career if they have not done anything so far and been on the lookout for the opportunity. There will be three categories in this program: K-2, 3-5 grades, and 6-8 grades. Three winners for first, second, and third place will be chosen for each category.

The submissions will be scored by local artist Dan Fager based on creativity, relevance, and neatness. Winners will be declared, and submissions will be demonstrated on April 10, 2022, at the Annual Spring Youth Art Contest of 2022 at Rolling Hills Ranch. This program will include the following prizes: Ribbons and Certificates, Recognition in the Cecil Whig, Riding Lessons at Rolling Hills Ranch, Gift cards to local businesses and restaurants, and Art Supplies and toys. To be selected for this opportunity, candidates will have to prepare an art piece exhibiting friendship and community. Your application must include an entry form signed by a legal guardian. It must be 8.5×11 inches and submitted with the entry form in a folder for protection clearly labeled with the artist’s name and age.
