The Frederic S. Lee Heterodox Economics Scholarship Fund is an opportunity provided by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. The program is an initiative taken by the organization to financially assist talented students.
The students enrolled in a doctoral heterodox economics program in the United States and demonstrated financial needs are welcomed to apply for the program. The applicants engaged in other majors may also join.
The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation is known as one of the most well-respected, knowledgeable leaders on charitable giving in the nation. It has the aim to make giving convenient and efficient for donors through donor-advised funds.

Who May Eligible?
To get considered, the candidates must be following the entire eligibility criteria:
- Must be enrolled in a doctoral heterodox economics program within the United States and demonstrate financial need.
- Priority will be given to applicants with no scholarship support at all and need the support to continue in their heterodox doctoral program.
- Preference will be given to applicants interested in working in heterodox microeconomics.
- Applicants from other field of study are also encouraged to apply, especially if they are willing to do heterodox economics in an integrative manner

The eligible students may submit their correspondence by signing in or up to get considered for the scholarship program.
Benefits
The scholarships award will cover the tuition and fees, up to three classes per semester, for doctoral heterodox economics students.
Application Deadline
The applications should be submitted by May 15 for the fall semester and by November 15 for the spring semester.
