Fred Deluca Scholarship is currently open for the citizen of the U.S. who have completed the Franchising or Entrepreneurship within the last two years. Students enrolled in an accredited college or university in the U.S. can grab the opportunity to win enormous funds. The program is organized by the International Franchise Association Foundation.
The International Franchise Association Foundation and the Fred DeLuca Foundation have collaborated to support the students with this educational scholarship. The award’s purpose is to recognize the deserving students who are enrolled in an accredited college or university with studies in franchise management or business.
Fred Deluca Scholarship is established under the partnership of the International Franchise Association Foundation and the Fred DeLuca Foundation. The program was founded in 1983 as a non-profit organization. Through the production of timely research, the establishment of an industry-leading certification program, and acting as a bridge between franchising and diverse communities, the Foundation helps to shape franchising.
Who May Be Eligible?
The eligible candidates can move forward to apply for the grant:
- The applicant must be a U. S. Citizen.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the U.S.
- Applicants must have competed in the Franchising or Entrepreneurship competition sponsored by DECA within the last two years.
How to Apply
Eligible students are asked to download and fill a pdf application form. All the details asked in the form should be filled correctly without negligence. Documents and applications must be submitted through mail at International Franchise Association Foundation – 1900 K Street, NW., Suite #700 Washington DC 20006 to be considered for a scholarship.
Supporting Documents
- A document stating you are a U. S. Citizen enrolled in an accredited college/university in the U.S.
- Submit a copy of franchising business plan – up to 10 pages
- Updated resume.
Benefits
The winner will be awarded $1,500 to pay their educational fees and encourage them t do better in their fields. The recipients will be able to accomplish or continue their higher education and also pay for high-cost expenses such as tuition, fees, books, etc.
Application Deadline
The deadline for application submission is October 31 every year. Applications submitted before the period will be considered for a scholarship.
