Ford ReStart Programs for Undergraduate Students

Right higher education is the foundation of a successful career and can open the doors of exciting career opportunities for students. Nowadays, many adult students are at the risk of drop out due to rising study cost. Ford Community Foundation knows about the struggles that an adult student face during their academic program and which is why it has brought this ‘Ford ReStart Programs’ for the academic year 2021-2022. These are annual programs that are offered to help students, age 25 and older, based on their financial need. Applications are open for students enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree and have not previously earned a bachelor’s degree.

Some of the adult students don’t seek financial help from their families to pay for their education while others are financially dependent on their families. But in both cases, students can experience financial pressure if they don’t collect the needed money to cover their expenses such as tuition, books, and supplies so on. A scholarship is a great medium for such adult students to get the free money that they can invest in earning a higher education. Scholarship money doesn’t need to be repaid so students can focus on their study rather than worrying. As the part of Fort ReStart Programs, up to 46 renewable scholarships are granted each year to students from Oregon and Siskiyou County, California. If you are interested in this program, you can apply through the online portal of Ford.
