Faith, Hope, and Love Jesus, Inc. were set up on February 22, 2005, by Marsha and Joey Maldonado, a mother and son diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. The mission behind starting this foundation was to provide comfort and support for the children who are also going through the same phase or facing similar challenges.

Who is Eligible?
The eligibility criteria for the following scholarship is as follows:
- College students who are also childhood cancer or blood disorder survivors.
- Must be US residents.
How to Apply?
All eligible candidates can apply for this scholarship by submitting an essay of 500 words or more on any topic of their own choice. The subject of the topic is going to be the candidate’s choice. Submit your essay with a cover page including your name, address, phone number, and email.

Following are the documents that need to be attached with your application form:
- Submit a copy of your acceptance letter, or a letter from the registrar’s office of your school, or an official or unofficial transcript.
- Submit a letter from your doctor documenting a history of a blood disorder or cancer diagnosed before 18.
The Faith Hope and Love Jesus, Inc. will help students who are enrolled in college and cancer survivors with a grand prize of $500, which you can earn by impressing the judges with your best-written piece ever. The essay must be your original work, or otherwise, you will be disqualified.
The annual application deadline for the following grant program is May 1. You will have to submit your entries following the said deadline to have your way to be considered for the prize.
