In the United States, engineering is one of the most common majors. In reality, 131,937 students graduated with a degree in engineering in 2018, and the number is projected to rise. It’s no surprise why students are interested in engineering degrees: not only does an engineering degree lead to a high-paying career after graduation, but it can also help you and your country stay on the cutting edge of technological advancement. As a result, several engineering scholarships are open, funded by both private foundations and the federal government.
Many that want to major in one of the various engineering concentrations can find that financial assistance is readily available. If you’re looking for mechanical engineering scholarships, chemical engineering scholarships, civil engineering scholarships, or other engineering-related prizes, there’s a good chance you’ll find them. There are also additional engineering scholarships available for blacks, women, and returning students, to name a few. Engineering students may also be eligible for scholarships in electronics, math, and astronomy.
This list of scholarships is targeted at graduating high school seniors and college freshmen. They are mostly mainly targeted at US civilians or permanent residents and are available to nearly all students enrolled in approved engineering programmes, with the location and grade level being the only constraints. Here is a list of 10 scholarships to get you started off!
