Emmy Noether Awards for STEM Students

The Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation have come up with an amazing program called Emmy Noether Awards. This program calls aspiring female research scientists in any STEM field to be a part of this learning experience.  Emmy Noether Awards will help talented female students, interested in being a researcher, realize their potential careers through monetary and networking assistance. According to the foundation, creating such a program will motivate more female students out there to show their potential in STEM fields and make difference in the world through their work. If you are a STEM student who dreams to have a successful research career, then this program can boost your chances by providing you with needed funding support and career opportunities.

One gold medalist, two silver medalists, and up to ten Emmy Noether Scholars will be selected during the Emmy Noether Awards. The gold medalist will receive up to $75,000 ($25,000 for each year of graduate school, up to three years). Each of the two silver medalists will be granted $25,000 towards a suitable graduate program. Moreover, The Emmy Noether Scholars will get the chance to become a part of a network of young female aspiring research scientists and will be provided with information on internship and networking possibilities. Applications will be accepted until March 24, 2022, at Noon.

The Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation are dedicated to helping people in need. The Foundation’s governing body adopted its goal statement: Alleviate Human Suffering, under the proud and deeply dedicated leadership of American military hero D. Paul Spencer, a long-time employee, and friend of the Browns. Significant progress has been made in determining the funding’s direction and scope. The endowment funds of the foundation were wisely invested in accordance with modern portfolio theory. To ensure rigorous compliance by grant seekers, committees were formed, criteria were written, and application and reporting systems were developed.
