The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) Foundation is pleased to announce the Business, Economics, and Public Policy Scholarships. The Foundation awards this scholarship to high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who are pursuing a degree in, or closely related to, one of the following disciplines: Business/Business Administration, Finance/Economics, and Public Policy.

Mariam K. Chamberlain Fellowship in Women and Public Policy

The Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR) is now offering the Mariam K. Chamberlain Fellowship. Applicants should have at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a social science discipline (such as sociology, psychology, education, or public policy), statistics, economics, mathematics or women’s studies.  The fellowship offers health insurance benefits, accrued sick leave and vacation, paid holidays, and a public transportation stipend.

D. L. Evans Bank Scholarships

D. L. Evans Bank is pleased to award thirty-two (32) $500 (total of $16,000) scholarships to the 2018 graduating high school seniors. They offer scholarships to students who plan on attending one of the following colleges/universities: College of Southern Idaho, College of Western Idaho, College of Idaho, Treasure Valley Community College, University of Idaho, Idaho State University, Boise State University, and Brigham Young University-Idaho. The student must be enrolled full-time and attend the fall semester right after high school graduation. Preference will be given to students majoring in finance, business, or economics, however, all other majors will be considered.

Business Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship

The Business Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship is offered to students who are entering or currently enrolled in an accredited finance, economics or real estate program. All applicants must submit a 600 to 1,000-word essay explaining what they hope to accomplish during their career in a business or finance field and how the scholarship would fulfill those goals. Winners have a chance to win $1,000 scholarship award.

Humane Studies Fellowships

The Institute for Humane Studies (HIS) is now offering the Humane Studies Fellowships. The programs are granted to Ph.D./ doctoral students in the social sciences with a demonstrated research focus in the ideas of a free society. Qualifying fields of study include economics, philosophy, law, political science, history, and sociology. The program awards up to $15,000 that can be used for research and advising expenses associated with a Ph.D. program.

Transatlantic Post-Doc Fellowship for International Relations and Security (TAPIR)

The Transatlantic Post-Doc Fellowship is open to candidates who have recently received their doctorate in social and political sciences or economics and whose research focuses on topics of international relations and/or international peace and security issues. Applicants must either be citizens of the U.S., Canada or Europe (in a broader geographical definition) or must have resided in the U.S., Canada or Europe at least for two-and-a-half years in the five years prior to the application deadline. The fellowship consists of a monthly stipend of Euro 1.800,00, a monthly allowance for health insurance of Euro 20,000 and a one-time travel allowance of Euro 3.500,00 for travel to and from the host institutions

German Chancellor Fellowship for tomorrow’s leaders

The German Chancellor Fellowship offers you an opportunity to take the next career step in Germany – irrespective of your field of work. Students can send an application if they work in a sector such as politics, economics, the media, administration and culture, and are a university graduate with an international bias from Brazil, China, India, Russia or the USA and have already acquired initial leadership experience. The foundation will offer a monthly fellowship of €2,150, €2,450 or €2,750 (depending on your qualifications) and a study tour of Germany etc.

Harvey Fellowship

The Mustard Seed Foundation is now announcing the Harvey Fellowship. To eligible, an individual must be enrolled in or have applied to a full-time graduate program. Each individual selected for the Harvey Fellowship is awarded an initial stipend of $16,000. Stipends may be renewed for up to two additional years. Funding may be provided for a total of two years for most master’s programs and a total of three years for law and doctoral programs.

The Wm Wrigley scholarship provides financial assistance to junior and seniors attending a UNCF college/university during the 2017-2018 academic year. Candidates for this scholarship should be majoring engineering (chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial), business, finance, accounting, chemistry, economics, computer science or marketing.
