Greenwich Gynecology LLC is proud to offer the founding of the Dr Edward Jacobson Healthy Living Scholarship to the developing health and wellness thought leaders of tomorrow.
The program is open to those US students who demonstrate an extraordinary level of commitment to strength and wellness on both a personal and a community-wide basis.
Dr Jacobson is a Board-certified gynaecologist and a Member of the American College of Obstetricians who have been in private practice as over thirty years.
Who May Eligible
To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Students must be currently pursuing a program of study at an accredited community college, junior college, undergraduate or graduate institution in the United States.
- Applications will also be accepted from high school graduates and holders of GEDs who are preparing to embark on college-level studies in the immediate future.
- Candidates need to provide a clear articulation of how they embody the principles of healthy living and will explain their ideas for expanding wellness initiatives in the surrounding community.
- Participants must have evidence of a current cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
How to Apply
Interested candidates need to submit a completed scholarship inquiry cover page, together with:
- Students must submit an up-to-date resume
- Aspirants need to present an essay in 750 words, which shows the applicant’s approach to healthy living and interest in fostering community wellness programme or awareness
- Candidates need to send an updated educational transcript first-year students are permitted to substitute unofficial transcripts from the most recent school attended, with unofficial documentation from current institution
- All the applicants are required to submit application materials that include a cover page, resume, transcript(s) and essay via an email message to info@greenwichgynecology.com
Benefits
A financial grant of $500 will be awarded each year to a higher education student.
