The Dayton Metro Library has decided to take an Art Contest for teenagers studying into grades 7 to 12. This contest is for those students who live in or attend the school of Montgomery Country. When children enter their teenage millions of things, run into their mind, and their mind starts exploring new and creative things, that why this contest is providing different categories in which students can participate such as photography, watercolor, selfie, oil and acrylic, 3D (Sculpture, etc.), and mixed or another medium. The Entries for this contest start from February 01, 2022.
Participants entering into this contest will be judged in accordance with their artwork, as winners will be selected from each age category divided as 7-9 and 10-12 and from each art category. The selected winners will receive some exciting gift card prizes, which will build their confidence to do better. Their artwork will also be displayed at the Main Library in the Patterson Opportunity Space to patrons and artists to see the beautiful artworks and enjoy. The students will get motivated and cheered as well as they will be able to push their limitations.
The DML was founded in the year 1888, which means that over 34 years, they have been consistently meeting the changing needs of the diverse and growing community. They are working on the mission to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together to discover new things about the world, themselves, and each other. Their materials, programs, and initiatives cover countless topics for all ages.

The students who are eligible for this contest and wants to show their creativity and skills to people in any form such as photography, watercolor, selfies, oil and acrylic, 3D (sculpture, etc.), and mixed or another medium should get their entry forms from any of the Dayton Metro Library branches, and after completion, they should also submit their artworks there. Benefits
The students participating in this contest will get selected for some prizes in the form of gift cards, and the selection of winners will be based on their work; winners will get chosen from each grade category divided as 7-9 and 10-12 and from each art medium as already mentioned. Moreover, the winning artworks will be displayed at the Main Library in the Patterson Opportunity space during the month of March, and the patrons and artists visiting the library will view their artworks and will get entertained by them. This will add value to their work as people will be able to see their talent and skills; this will encourage and motivate the students as well as will help them to build their confidence and believe in themselves, which will bring out the best in themselves.
