Distinguished Public Service Scholarships

All the college students of AAPI heritage with U. S. citizenship should not miss this article. The Federal Asian Pacific American Council or FAPAC is already with their exceptional promising Distinguished Public Service Scholarship Program. Candidates should be an accredited U.S university or college student of AAPI heritage holding a United States citizenship to be eligible for this scholarship. Fellows should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 to be considered.

The FAPAC or Federal Asian Pacific American Council has designed the scholarship to help the students who belong to AAPI heritage. The scholarship program is simply dedicated to reducing the financial stress of the students and encourage them to achieve all the success they deserve. The council is passionate about making education easier for the students with their different programs. The council understands that higher education is the right of everyone and for making it easier this program has been designed.

The Federal Asian Pacific American Council or FAPAC founded in 1985 is a non-profit organization which is representing the APA or Asian Pacific American employees in district governments. The council is dedicatedly providing and representing the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The council is the largest and the oldest AAPI affinity group for federally employed Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The council initiates different programs and other initiatives for making it more comfortable for these people.

Who May Be Eligible

Here are the requirements you need to stand on before starting with the application:

  • Candidates should be an accredited U.S university or college student of AAPI heritage holding a United States citizenship to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • Fellows should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 to be considered.

How to Apply

Only the eligible candidates are invited by the council to apply. Fellows should complete the online application form with all the required details and materials without any negligence. Any incomplete submissions will not be accepted. Applicants should follow the application process well and must not miss any material to provide with the application. Any invalid or incomplete applications or materials provided by the candidate will not be accepted.

Supporting Documents

  • A letter of recommendation describing your work or contributions, transcripts, essay on how and why you want to contribute to the community and one-page biography is mandatory.
  • Please submit a digital colour or black and white headshot photo with the application.

Benefits

Winning candidates will receive a stipend of $5000 for their education. This scholarship will effectively free students from educational expenses burden. This scholarship motivates students to achieve their career aspirations through perseverance and dedication. The easy entirety process makes it more probe to candidates.  The amount through the scholarship must only be used to pay the education-related expenses of the students like tuition, fees, books and other associated needs.
