The DeuceMan Strong Memorial Scholarship Foundation is pleased to offer its Scholarship Program. The applicants need to be graduating high school seniors of an accredited college or university and also engaged in arts to apply for the program.
The award is created to help students to defray the higher cost of education. The recipients will get significant financial assistance to continue or start their further quality studies without any tension of educational expenses.
The DeuceMan Strong Memorial Scholarship Foundation is known for educational and charitable purpose within Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It was organized by Dwayne and Kimberly Williams to honour their son.
Who May Eligible?
The candidates must fulfil the given criteria to qualify the program:
- Must be graduating high school seniors
- Must be residents of the Metropolitan Detroit area, for at least four years,
- Students who are motivated to pursue an education at an accredited college or university, and plan to study in the field of art within the United States may apply
- Must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA and also an A-B average in Art classes
- Must be enrolled full time at an accredited university with a minimum of 12 credits.
How to Apply
The eligible candidates are asked to provide their required credentials through an online application form to get considered for the scholarship.
Supporting Documents
- Must provide two letters of recommendations, one must be from an art teacher.
Benefits
The DeuceMan Strong Memorial Scholarship includes a maximum award amount of $1,000. The recipients may apply to renew their scholarship if they continue to meet the award criteria.
Application Deadline
The applications should be submitted by May 31, 2020.
