Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarship Program Mission is helping students in accomplishing higher education. The scholarship promotes education and helps students to overcome financial barriers. All students are eligible to apply regardless of race, colour, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
The purpose of Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarship Program Mission is to recognize students by awarding them with scholarships for their ideas to help Denny’s brought communities together. This scholarship encourages female aspirants to apply who are African American or of African descent. The goal of the programme is to provide financial assistance so that education can be made available to students.
Denny’s launched the Hungry for Education Scholarship program in 2011 as an effort to help fight childhood hunger and promote education. This program has since awarded more than $1.5 million in combined scholarships to elementary, high school, and college students across the country. Annually in September, Denny’s identifies strategic partners to award scholarships to students that submit essays on how Denny’s can help bring communities together, and one student is selected by Denny’s to have their idea be put into action in their community.
