Defending Yourself Scholarship

Attorneys at Scott Pryor Law are glad to announce the Defending Yourself Scholarship for US students to recognize the talent of justice in the United States.

The program is established to encourage US residents, which gives students the opportunity to express a time when they needed to defend themselves.

Scott Pryor Law is a firm which fights for you, your family, friends and loved ones. Its focus is to create a custom plan of action so that we can address each of these needs.

Who May Eligible

  • The Scholarship is open to any student currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate or graduate program in the United States.
  • Applicants must be incoming first-year college students who have graduated high school or own a GED.

How to Apply

Students interested in the scholarship should provide the following:

  • Aspirants need to submit a resume with contact information and relevant education, professional and volunteer experience. 
  • Students need to provide an unofficial academic transcript.
  • Candidates need to submit an essay in 750-1000 word answering the following:
    • Participants need to tell a time when they needed to defend their self, either vocally or through taking action. What prepared them for this moment when you had to protect yourself, and what was the outcome?
  • Students need to submit all applications through the email to info@scottpryorlaw.net and have the subject line that read [Applicant’s First and Last Name] – Defending Yourself Scholarship Application. 

Benefits

The Scholarship will award $2,000 to a student who best shares their story about a time they defended themselves.

Application Deadline: The deadline for this scholarship is February 29, 2020
