David Porter Need-Based Diversity $5,000 Scholarships

IES Abroad would like to draw students’ attention toward its excellent scholarship program called “David Porter Need-Based Diversity Scholarship”. This scholarship is named after David Porter, who has served the IES Abroad Board of Directors since 1995. The program has been brought to existence with the purpose of promoting diversity and supporting students who are unable to access quality education because of their financial condition. IES Abroad Board invites students from diverse cultural backgrounds who have been traditionally under-represented in study abroad programs to take advantage of this opportunity.

There are two scholarships available, each of $5,000 for students. These scholarships are offered to students each year. IES Abroad intends to assist underrepresented students in covering their financial expenses through this scholarship. IES Abroad believes that everyone has the right to access quality education, no matter what background, religion, race, and culture they belong to. These funding opportunities will be granted especially to college and university students in dire need of monetary assistance. These are the need-based scholarships, so students who demonstrate genuine financial need will avail this opportunity.

IES Abroad has been devoted to educate students and help become global leaders through premier study abroad and internship programs. It has various study programs which offer students worldwide experiential learning opportunities that set the highest standards of academic quality. IES Abroad is also known as the Institute for the International Education of Students and carries a passion for making meaningful educational and cultural education opportunities possible for students across the world.
