Educating women is not just about to sending them school but it refers to ensuring that every woman has access to all levels of education and opportunities. Education makes a man perfect. An educated woman is well informed and talented and is able to make decisions related to life on her own and contribute to the community and world. CREW Chicago knows very well how much women’s education is important for society. And that is the reason why it emphasizes educating women. As a part of its commitment to supporting women, it offers three amazing scholarships each year. These awards are open for those female students who are enrolled at a college or university as junior, senior, or graduate students.
Each scholarship is $5,000 in amount and awarded to deserving candidates based on academic excellence. The purpose of these programs is to help qualified students pursue an education that will lead them into productive careers in commercial real estate in the Chicago-land area. Aspirants must be enrolled for the academic year in which the award is being sought. Preference for this program will be given to those students majoring or concentrating in real estate, construction, facility management, architecture, urban planning, real estate law, land economics, real estate appraisal, or related real estate fields. For these awards, applications will be received until October 31st. Who is Eligible?
Applicant must meet the following requirements to get selected:
- Be a female citizen of the United States
- Be of legal age in the state in which the applicant resides
- Be a junior, senior or graduate student at a college or university
- Complete all of the items listed below which are required before any applicant will be considered for the scholarship. Failure to turn in any of the required materials without explanation will be grounds for automatic denial of the application.

- Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation must be submitted in envelopes marked “Confidential” and sealed by the reference with his/her signature over the seal. References should indicate how they know the applicant and why the applicant should be considered for this award. Both letters should be from professors or employers who know the applicant’s work. Benefits
There are five scholarships available for students. Each scholarship is $5000 in amount and will help students lessen their financial burden and reaching to their educational goals. They can put this award amount toward covering tuition and other expenses associated with education.
