The Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District has declared to conduct a poster contest that will include students from kindergarten to 12th. The poster theme is ‘Healthy soil: Healthy life’ that will picture our healthy soil resources and how it impacts our lives. If we keep our soil resources healthy, then only we can have healthy food, which will eventually make us healthy and fit. Students may also include the importance of keeping them prevented and healthy.
Participants who will participate in this competition from K-12 are categorized as K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12, and the award will be given based on these categories, for each category 1st and 2nd place winner will be selected. This will help students to learn more about our soil resources and their importance in the form of artwork that will make them easily understandable. Also, with the exciting prizes, it will cheer them up even more.
The Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District have been providing support to many natural resources over the years and the ways to protect and prevent them. The mission they are carrying in all those years is to implement different programs and methods that will help in protecting and restoring our healthy soil and water resources.

The interested applicants should register themselves with their teacher. Their teacher will do the following process, and if participating in the group, then the group leader should take forward the registration. Anyone who is applying must provide direct contact information. In the comments section, each student’s name, school or group name, grade of students should be mentioned. The students who will take part in the competition between the five grade categories between K-12, each category will be awarded 1st and 2nd prize and winners will be awarded exciting gift prizes. And two best state prizes will be declared among all the best artwork. Children will get to learn more about the conservation of soil, water, and all our natural resources. This is the more creative way in which we can educate children about healthy soil, which will eventually lead to a happy life.

Children who want to take part in this competition can inform their teachers, and teachers will then fill the application on behalf of them no later than April 22, 2022. Everyone should note that applications after the deadline will not be accepted.
