Connect the First Scholarship

RingCentral Company is providing the Connect First Scholarship to the most talented US students to support their education-related expenses for the academic year 2020-2021.

With this program, the company is asking undergraduate students to answer these questions and give their take on communication technology in the present time and for the future.

RingCentral is a publicly-traded provider of cloud-based communications solutions for businesses. It is focused on small business communications on Microsoft Windows.

Who May Eligible

To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:

  • All the applicants must be enrolled, or due to be registered, as a full-time student at an accredited college or university in the semester, they are applying to receive the scholarship.
  • The aspirant must be US citizen.
  • International and undocumented students may apply.

How to Apply

  • All the applicants need to write a 1,000 to 1,500-word essay answering the following questions:
    • Why are meaningful interactions significant for customers?
    • When a customer contacts a company, how can a company use that interaction to shape the customer’s view of the company and their loyalty to it?
    • Where do you see communication technology headed, and how can we use technology to create better connections?
  • Participants need to provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.

Benefits

The participant who best expresses their views will receive a $1,000 award to help further their education.

Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted until January 2, 2019.
