The U.S. Division of State supports the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX) with funds donated by the U.S. Congress and the German Bundestag. The CBYX Scholarship is regulated in the states(Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Tennessee, Wisconsin) by YFU USA. It is for propelled secondary school understudies who need to live with a host family and go to class for an academic year in Germany. No past German language experience is required.
