Who May Be Eligible

Some mandatory eligibility requirements are mentioned below:

  • Students should attend Humboldt State University/College of the Redwoods, Shasta Community College, or Chico State University to be eligible for the scholarship.
  • Students must be graduating senior from a high school located in Humboldt, Del Norte, or Trinity County.

  • Applicants should have a high school grade average of “C” or better.

Benefits 

The scholarships are dispersed over a four-year college period. For the first and second years of the college, the amount is $1,000 per year. For the third and fourth years, the amount is $1,500 each year. The total scholarship reward is $5,000. These scholarships encourage students to achieve success in their careers by focusing on their studies. These scholarships reduce the financial stress of the students.
