Church Matching Scholarship

The Biola University is inviting the applicants to apply for its Church Matching Scholarship introduce for the academic year 2020–21. The program is open for both freshmen and transfer students who are enrolled in a traditional degree program.

The mission of the program is biblically centered education, scholarship, and service to equipping men and women in mind and character to affect the world for the Lord Jesus Christ. The program seeks students to make unique, Christ-centered education is more affordable for students and their family.

Biola University is an evangelical Christian, private university in La Mirada, California. The university was founded in 1908; it has over 150 programs of study in nine schools. Biola has perch as a beacon of hope for the intellectual, spiritual, and righteous growth of its student since1908.

Who May Be Eligible?

Students must meet up with the given eligibility requirements to apply:

  • Applicant must be enrolled at least half-time
  • The aspirant must be enrolled in a traditional degree program.
  • Candidates must demonstrate financial need based on FAFSA information.
  • Participants must receive fiscal sponsorship from a church.

How to Apply

Students need to complete FAFSA first, and then complete the Church Matching Scholarship application. Church sponsorship check must be written out to Biola University and attached to the Church Matching Scholarship Application.

Benefits

The Amount for Church Matching Scholarship 2020–21 School Years is up to $1,300 per year (split between fall and spring semesters) for the successful students of this program. The award can be used for education-related expenses.
