The Grant sum is $5,000 each year, not to surpass the cost of educational cost, compulsory charges, and other direct instructive costs. The grant is renewable for up to three extra years with an aggregate GPA of 3.0. The application opens January 1, 2022, and the cutoff time to get all application materials is 4:30 p.m. on May 20, 2022.

Who is Eligible?
The eligibility criteria for the following scholarship is as follows:
- Legal residents of Delaware.
- U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens.
- Full-time students enrolled at a Delaware college in an undergraduate program leading to teacher certification.
- High school seniors must have an unweighted cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and a combined score of 1010 on the SAT.
- Preference is given to applicants planning to teach in a critical need area as defined by the Delaware Department of Education.

All eligible candidates can apply for this scholarship by completing the application on the Delaware Higher Education Office’s secure Student Account Access site. First-time users must establish an account and provide a valid email and mailing address before proceeding to the application. The award amount is $5,000 per year, awarded to only the luckiest and deserving candidates with not to exceed the cost of tuition, mandatory fees, and other direct educational expenses. The award is renewable for up to three additional years with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
The entries to the following scholarship will open from January 1, 2022, to May 20, 2022. Applications will be accepted only during this period. Any submissions received before or after the said dates will not be considered.
