Northwestern Mutual Foundation is offering the Northwestern Mutual Childhood Cancer Sibling Scholarship Program to the siblings of individuals who are in current treatment from pediatric childhood cancer.
The award is eligible for those individuals who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs in the United States.
The Northwestern Mutual is a foundation. Its mission is to provide the lives of children and families in need of financial support, volunteerism, or collaboration with community partners to build stronger communities.
Who May Eligible
To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Applicants must be siblings of individuals who are in current treatment, have survived or passed away from pediatric childhood cancer.
- Candidates must upload an Affidavit which signed by Parent and confirming your status as a Sibling of someone who is currently in treatment, has survived or passed away from childhood cancer.
- Students must be age 25 and a high school seniors or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates, who plan to enrol in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university
- Participants must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

Benefits
- The student will receive the amount of $5,000 as an award.
- Up to 10 awards will be granted with a minimum of two scholarships per the time zone of the applicant’s home address.
- Awards may be renewed for up to one year or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first.
