Wildcat and Need-Based Scholarships

The California State University, Chico provides opportunities for scholarship awards to eligible students. New and continuing students are encouraged to apply by submitting the online Wildcat Scholarship Application. All scholarships also require a minimum 2.00 GPA and many require a GPA of 3.00 or higher.

CSU, Chico College of Agriculture Recruitment Scholarships

At California State University, the College of Agriculture is pleased to offer the six scholarship programs. There are many opportunities for students to offset the expenses of their education. The program will provide award as the following- Chico State Ag Alumni Recruitment Scholarship ($1,000+), Superior Ag Recruitment Scholarship ($500-$3,000), Charlie and Jackie Crabb Student Recruitment Scholarship ($500), Academic and Performance Award ($1,000+), Dean Merit Award ($500+), and The Bell Family Presidential Scholarship ($5,000/year & renewable for 4 years).

Chico State Scholarships

Graduate Equity Fellowship Program

The Graduate Equity Fellowship Program (GEFP) is sponsored by the CSU Chancellor’s Office and California State University, Chico. The program is open to help broaden and expand the pool of academically talented CSU graduate students interested in pursuing careers in university teaching and research. The program provides a $1050/semester stipend and a $2,645 research assistantship for research-related activities under the direction of a faculty mentor.

CSU International Programs Scholarship Opportunities

IP Scholarships ($750) made possible through the generosity of former CSU IP participants. IP Ghana Scholarship is available to qualified students accepted to the IP Ghana Program. Michelle Marriott Memorial Scholarship Award is available to qualified students accepted to the IP France-Aix-en-Provence Program. Ward Wallach Memorial Scholarship is available to qualified students accepted to the IP Japan Programs. Consideration shall be given to any California State University student who is applying to an International Programs study abroad program.

Department of Biological Sciences Scholarships and Awards

California State University, Chico is now offering Department of Biological Sciences Scholarships and Awards (10 scholarships and 6 awards). In order to be eligible for scholarships within the College of Natural Sciences students must complete the CSU, Chico online scholarship application. The award amounts and eligibilities are varied according to the programs.

CSU, Chico MBA program

Want to get an MBA, but concerned about the expense of continuing your education? The California State University might be able to help. The CSU, Chico MBA program is already a great value, but these scholarships and grants make it an extraordinary deal. Students receiving a scholarship award must maintain a 3.3 GPA in the program to remain eligible. There are two types of scholarships awarded. Some are $8,000 awards spread over four semesters ($2,000 per semester) and others are $4,000 awards spread over four semesters ($1,000 per semester).

California Collegiate Athletic Scholarships

CSU, Chico is a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), NCAA Division II Athletic conference, and offers athletic grants-in-aid to selected athletic recruits. The grants-in-aid are subject to the financial limitations and rules imposed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the CCAA. Financial aid, scholarships, specific outside resources, and employment are considered in determining compliance with these limitations.

Non-Resident Tuition Waivers

At California State University, Chic, New and continuing students who are seeking a degree at CSU, Chico, may apply for non-resident tuition waivers.  To apply, students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale).  Successful applicants may receive non-resident tuition waivers of up to $9,504 for an academic year. The deadline for submission of the Non-Resident Tuition Fee Waiver application can vary and will be listed on the form.

Online Scholarship and Need-Based Scholarship CSU, Chico

The California State University, Chico is pleased to announce the Online Scholarship Application CSU, Chico. To eligible, the applicants must be enrolled at CSU, Chico or must be eligible for regular admission. All scholarships require that the recipients maintain full-time enrollment (12 unit undergraduates and credential and 8 unit graduates).

Chico State Study Abroad scholarship

CSU Chico is now providing the Chico State Study Abroad scholarship applications through the USAC program. General Scholarship: The General Scholarship is available to all Chico State Students with a 2.75 GPA or higher. The Diversity Scholarship is for those who are from a diverse background or have a personal experience with diversity. Examples include but are not limited to LGBTQ, minorities, 1st generation college students, students with disabilities, etc. The STEM Scholarship is for those who are majoring or minoring in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields.
