The Chickasaw Nation is inviting all the Chickasaw citizens living in or outside of Chickasaw boundaries who are full time and part-time undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students to apply for the fantastic Higher education Fall Scholarship. The programs will assist applicants in pursuing a degree from an accredited university or college.
The Chickasaw Nation Higher Education started this award to help students with their educational study material expenses. This grant is for part-time and full-time students to support them complete their higher education and have a successful career. It aims for the overall growth of Chickasaw and its students.
The Chickasaw Nation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of Chickasaw people’s life. They generate funds to support many programs and services in education, youth, aging, housing, health care, volunteering, and much more for the benefit of the Chickasaw community. The Chickasaw nation’s vision is to create a society of prosperous and united people with a strong cultural identity.

Who May Be Eligible?
Here are the eligibility requirements for the programs:
- Applicants must be Chickasaw citizen to be eligible for this Scholarship.
- This Scholarship is only available for the Chickasaw students living in or outside the Chickasaw National boundary.
- The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher each semester.
- The winner’s selection depends on the number of credited hours each semester and GPA every semester.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in an associate’s degree.
How to Apply
Applicants interested and eligible can apply for Scholarship through an online form; paper-based applications are not accepted. For online application, go to Chickasaw.net/HigherEd. Candidates should fill the application form carefully, after submitting your application form applicants cannot add any information or document to the application form.
Supporting Documents
- Applicants must provide proof of being Chickasaw citizenship or employment information.
- Applicants must attach payment receipts or pre-payment registration copy with the application form.
- Official high school, college, or university transcript must be submitted with the application.
- The class schedule must be attached to the application.
Benefits
Winners are awarded the textbook funds for students to buy textbooks for their classes. These funds are given in the form of a Textbook Visa Card. Students applied for three to 11 hours are awarded $250 per term, and students applied for 12+ hours are awarded $500 per term.
