Applications are open for the Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship organized by the University of California Riverside. The fellowship is open to the applicants who must receive a Ph.D. from an accredited university before the start of their fellowship.
This program is very competitive. Five awards will be made to applicants who show substantial promise for a tenure-track appointment on the Riverside campus. The fellowship will be for up to two years (beginning July 1, 2019), in residence at the Riverside campus.
The annual award provides a starting salary of $47,844 but is dependent on field and years of experience. The award also provides health insurance, vision, and dental benefits, four weeks paid time off and up to $5,000 for research-related and program travel expenses.

Who May Eligible:
To eligible, the candidates must be following all the eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must receive a Ph.D. from an accredited university before the start of their fellowship.
- Successful applicants must present documents demonstrating that they are legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions or limitations.
- Individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program is encouraged to apply.

Benefits:

- Each award is for a 12-month period, renewable for one year upon demonstration of academic productivity and participation in program events.
