The Cesar Chavez Foundation is very troubled about the future of the students who are enrolled in the undergraduate program due to the ever-increasing demand of fees for higher education and wants to assist them by providing a little contribution through the Cesar Chavez Scholarship to cherish their future. The Cesar Chavez Foundation is awarding with a massive scholarship of $5000 per head for the ten excellent students who are Latino descendent, who are active participants in an extracurricular activity, and are attending a college in Arizona or California’s Central Valley.

They aim to acquire a developed community, improve the living standards of their community. The Cesar Chavez Foundation plans to align funding for Latino descendants through foundation-approved efforts supporting and promoting student success.

The foundation works with more than 600 employees across six states; the Cesar Chavez Foundation provides services to over one million people in their community. At present, the Cesar Chavez Foundation carries on its legacy by developing and adapting into a thriving group of social enterprises that support working families, inspiring and transforming communities from rural to urban areas throughout the Southwest and across generations.

Who May Be Eligible
Kindly go through the criteria before applying for the scholarship:
- The applicant must be a full-time student.
- The fellow must be of Latino descent.
- The applicant should have a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
- The candidate must be a resident attending a college in Arizona or California’s Central Valley.
- The fellow must be U.S. Permanent Legal Resident Citizen,
- The candidate should be an incoming or continuing full-time undergraduate student at any educational institution.
- The student must need financial assistance.
- The fellow must be having excellent academic performance.
- The candidate should be involved in extracurricular activities, community service, and leadership.
How to Apply
The submission must be made by an online process accompanied by the required documents. The submission must be provided before the deadline via the online process. The fellow should only provide valid information in the application as the incomplete or invalid application will not be considered valid for the scholarship.
Supporting Documents

- The fellow must provide proof of acceptance or involvement at an accredited institution/ university for the undergraduate program.
- The student must provide a FAFSA document
- The candidate should submit two letters of recommendation
- The fellow must type and provide an essay of not more than 500 words on the topic provided in the application
- The student should provide the latest transcript
- The candidate should submit a student’s resume
- The applicant must provide a copy of the first two pages of your parent’s recently filed IRS Form 1040. If they have not filed an IRS Form, the student must submit a copy of their most recent W-2 forms, if available
