Are you a nurse in a pre-licensure program? If yes, then Oregon Nurse Foundation has something unique for you. If you have leadership skills, experience, career plans in nursing, and you are involved in diversity, then this scholarship is exclusively for you. Oregon Nurses Foundation is introducing its worthy Centennial Education Scholarship. Each Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program accredited by a national nursing accreditation organization recognized by the United States Department of Education.
The Centennial Education Scholarship Fund was created to support nursing students in pre-licensure programs (BSN, ADN). The primary purpose of this scholarship is to make nursing education easy on the students who are passionate about their studies and are willing to benefit society with their education. The aim behind creating this scholarship is to provide considerable support to the nursing students and to motivate them to do better in their careers as well as their academics. It reduces the extensive financial burden on the students.
Established in 1982, the Oregon Nurses Foundation is a tax-exempt, charitable 501(c)(3) organization. The foundation seeks to advance the profession of nursing in Oregon by raising funds to support its three key areas of focus. As part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to advance the career of nursing in Oregon, the staff have re-evaluated the foundation’s programs and have crafted a new direction which we believe will help us transform the profession of nursing in the coming years. Their goal is to expand existing scholarships (both in number and in the amount given) to $100,000 in direct funding to nursing students and those pursuing advanced nursing degrees per year.
