Cecilia Moy Yep Scholarship Fund was set up in 1994 by the Asian American Women’s Coalition to perceive female Asian American secondary school understudies who lastingly impact our local community through their service and leadership skills. The grant will assist with financing post-secondary school education. The Asian American Women’s Coalition’s Cecilia Moy Yep Scholarship Fund was intended to help women of potential and ability to accomplish their fantasies. The accompanying grant will help the final recipients finance their post-secondary school education. Numerous grants will be granted every year in fluctuating sums. The quantity of grants and sums relies upon the availability of funds consistently.
Understudies who meet the accompanying rules are qualified to apply for a grant. The candidate must be an Asian American secondary school twelfth-grade understudy graduating in May/June 2022. The candidate must live in Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, Chester, or Bucks areas and exhibit monetary need. The candidate must take an interest in community service and extracurricular exercises. The candidate must have a 3.0 aggregate grade point average on a 4.0 scale. The candidate must start his college or university in Summer/Fall 2022.
Asian American Women’s Coalition (AAWC) is a multi-social group committed to the issues of all Asian American Women. The AAWC was framed in 1987 as the consequence of an effective joint effort of the community and the Balch Institute of Ethnic Studies to support the display, “Chinese Women of America 1834-1982.” Their central goal is to advance the progression of Asian American ladies through authority and mutual help.
